http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads announces "An updated version of the VirtualBox 4.0.2 Guest Additions which addresses a display problem with Linux and Solaris guest systems (see bug #8122)" but there is no such thing anymore as Guest Additions AFAICT. At least, I don't see it anywhere on that page. Is this a replacement for "VirtualBox 4.0.2 Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack," or is it something completely separate?

Actually I know quite well what the guest additions are. I was confused by the "Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack," which I thought might have been some kind of new name for the guest additions.

I suggest you to read the user manual to find out what the guest additions are. And if you are not affected from the mentioned ticket you can ignore this package anyway.
