Description
Version 3.2.8 on fully patched XP 4 gb ram, intel Q6700. I had Virtual box running but reinstalled it. after reinstall and creation of new linux guest, I am not able to start/install the Guest OS. Am attaching vbox logs.

Even with VT-x disabled the crash could be fixed in VBox 4.0.4. Reopen if necessary.

Your guest runs with software virtualization. Make sure that you enable VT-x, it is most probably disabled in your BIOS.
