Drag & drop doesn’t work on Visual Basic forms - Vista host / WinXp guest

VirtualBox version: 3.0.10 r54097
Host: Windows Vista sp2
Guest: Windows XP sp3
Application on guest: Visual Basic 6.0 sp6
Description: If I try to drag & drop controls on a Visual Basic form (at design time), releasing the left mouse button the mouse pointer becomes an hourglass and the control doesn’t move at all.
Only clicking on the form’s bottom the mouse pointer reverts to arrow (but the control remains in his initial position).
After this malfunction, sometimes Visual Basic hangs and then also the shutdown of WinXP hangs.
This happens also in another virtual machine (even this with WinXP SP3), where Visual Basic 5.0 sp3 runs.
