Shared folders and guest hanging

Description

Hello, I have a problem. I have a shared folder which used in guest system as web root for debugging. In host system corresponding folder is NetBeans project. It works great, but after some usage any attempt to access the folder from inside the guest results to hanging. For example, I can interrupt `ls', but I can't kill apache at all. Halt command hangs too on "Stopping web server...". And of course I cannot unmount the folder (device is busy).

Host system is Windows 7 x64. Guest system was latest Debian x64, now it's Debuan x86, but the same problem persists. I dunno if this is an issue of Windows or Guest Additions.

Thanks in advance.

Same thing here too, Host is XP (32 Bit) && Guest is ubuntu 9.10 (32bit) It seems that the Problem appears with heavy IO on the shared folders.

Let me know if you need more Info.

toad42, thanks for the feedback. WGH, please check VBox 3.0.10 as well (please upgrade the guest additions) and reopen this ticket if necessary.
