Memory needs for virtual boxs seem more than previos virtual box version

Description
I try to run 3 VB's with more than 2 gig avail with 512mb assigned to each and I'm getting unable to lock memory/not enough memory. I am using vista business service pack 1 and all current updates. In most cases I have microsoft word 2007 up and Maybe firefox 3.0.8 Just to set the scene.
Thanks for any help with this problem

This bug was fixed in VirtualBox 2.2.2.
