Description

The User Guide says:

The “USB” section in a virtual machine’s Settings window allows you to configure VirtualBox’s sophisticated USB support.

I don't have a "USB" section in my Virtual machine settings ??

timmy@Black-Rose:~$ uname -a Linux Black-Rose 2.6.27-11-generic #1 SMP Thu Jan 29 19:28:32 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux

  • Status changed from new to closed
  • Resolution set to invalid
  • Summary changed from I cannot access any USB devices in my Windows XP guest to I cannot access any USB devices in my Windows XP guest -> feature not present in OSE

I'm afraid that the OSE version of VirtualBox does not have USB support - you will have to install the version from virtualbox.org for that.
