Guest pauses forever when doing some work if VBox 2.1.2 additions installed

Description
The guest O/S (Windows) some times pauses forever if i have VBox 2.1.2 additions installed. I have also seen a strange relation to the Advanced Cache support of the disk and these pauses....

Please reopen if this problem persists with the latest release 2.2.2. Make sure to upgrade your guest additions as well.
