Critical error on Linux kernel boot since kernel 4.14.11

Description

Guest: Fedora 27 i686 Host: Windows 7 x64 on Intel Core2 Quad Q8200 (no VT-x) Virtualbox: v5.2.4, v5.2.5-120181(latest test build)

Everything has been fine with kernels 4.14.8 and below. 4.14.11 and 4.14.13 will cause critical error in one second from the start.

As it was discussed in the forums (https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=86249) this is most probably a duplicate of #12254 where VT-x is not available.
