Description (last modified by aeichner) (diff)
Precondition: (see screenshot ifconfig~pre.png)
- Hostonly-Interface is successfully configured with ip-configuration 192.168.20.1/255.255.255.0.
- Different virtual machines are configured with static ip-configurations and successfully connected to hostonly-interface vboxnet0.
Bug:
After stopping and restarting one of those virtual machines, ip-configuration of vboxnet0 is reset to 192.168.56.1/255.255.255.0. (see screenshot ifconfig~post.png)
Consequence: All other running virtual machines connected to vboxnet0 lose connection.
In my environment this behavior is reproducible for each stop/start-cycle.
