Selecting FireFox Menus causes FireFox to crash on OEL 6.1 Guest — at Initial Version

Description
When using Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.1 32 Bit as a guest OS selecting FireFox menu causes the following to be thrown:
Assertion 'pthread_mutex_unlock(&m->mutex) == 0' failed at pulsecore/mutex-posix.c:108, function pa_mutex_unlock(). Aborting
If I down grade to VirtualBox 4.1.0 this does not occur
