Using Windows Starter on Netbook as Host. Guru Mediation — at Initial Version

Hi there
I recently installed the latest virtual box on my netbook (1gb ram and 1ghz dual core processor) using windows Starter. I tried creating a Ubuntu Linux guest, and when it starts for the first time and asks for the Linux file (I have downloaded the ubuntu linux 32bit file from their website) It starts to process, then comes up with a Guru Mediation error. I'm currently putting more RAM in the netbook (2gb) and will try again, but any ideas would be appreciated.
