I don't have the fix but a same problem.

While windows is booting after around 30 seconds first I get a warning "Guest OS does not support the mouse pointer integration" then a few seconds later the same error message appears ("A critical error has ocurred while running the virtual machine and the machineexecution Has Been stopped".) Does my enclosed log file include data to trace the error, is it a bug in virtualbox or is there another method I should use to run the VM?

Maybe it helps to say that I have already another windows xp laptop vm from different laptop running in same version of virtualbox on same vm host machine. For both I used disk2vhd to create the vhd. The one that runs successful runs on XP home edition and the one with error on XP professional.

Thanks,
