Description (last modified by )
I've been using Virtual PC for about 7 years since the days of Connectix. I've recently made a conscious decision to switch all my virtualisation to Virtual Box. My first test has been to run Windows Home Server virtually, something that I did successfully with Virtual PC. The reason for switching this to Virtual Box is the much higher drive capacity that can be created and more drives can be added.
However, I'm running into the error displayed above when trying to use bridged networking, and it's forcing me to rethink the situation again. I've uninstalled, reinstalled etc.etc. and even tried a different machine which hangs during the install process.

I've attached my log file. It failed whilst installing 4.0.6 saying that netflt was missing!

SOLVED!
Bloody hell!
I exited from the "Dropbox" client on my Windows start bar! I installed the program. This time it didn't hang and everything installed properly!
I don't think for a minute it's a problem with Dropbox though!
:-O

That error means that for some reason the driver for host networking was not properly installed. You should enable msi logging and attach the resulting logfile to this ticket.
