I am not able to install FreeBSD 8.1 using ftp://anonymous@ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ISO-IMAGES-i386/8.1/FreeBSD-8.1-RELEASE-i386-disc1.iso
Choosing all the FreeBSD default options during the installation configuration I end up with a disk failure - see attached screenshot.
The setup of the VM you can see on the second screenshot.
