Description

Hello, I was thinking about CPU limit on VBox, like setting the CPU limit to 75%, it would be done like this (I just edited the picture):

This could be very nice to add this.

Priority should be changed to "enhancement".

Even then I wonder what the reasoning is with trying to slow down the processor. Is it too fast for your needs now?

no but instead of using 50% CPU in the system, if we set the CPU limit to 50%, it would be 25% of used system ressources in host, but the virtual machine could be a bit slower, you can take a look at DosBox, they have that, I don't really know how to explain, but you should understand what I mean.

I found the word, it's to bridle the CPU, you can check DosBox. If you set 50% it will be 0.5 cores and so on, like does any virtual server.

Have a look at VBoxManage modifyvm --cpuexecutioncap
