Cannot save guest state after Windows host shutdown attempt

Windows XP Home host, CentOS 4 linux guest running in VirtualBox GUI, no guest additions

1. Trying to shutdown Windows host
2. Most of programs are shut down, then VirtualBox asks, what to do with running guest.
3. If I choose "save machine state", it shows error message "Unknown Status 0x800706BA (0x800706BA)", guest becomes paused.

After this guest can be resumed and then stopped using ACPI signal, but cannot be stopped using "save state"
