Description (last modified by Frank Mehnert)

I am using a dualhead setup running ubuntu 10.04, window manager is awesome. On one of the two screens, when I click the one of File/../Help-Menuitems, it gets displayed as pressed but the menu isn't shown. On the other screen it works fine. Display driver is Intel, configured via xrandr. Let me know if you need additional details.

I have encountered a bug with the VirtualBox menus which I think is related. I am using Debian "unstable" with Gnome and Metacity as WM also in a dual-head setup arranged with xrandr (side by side).

When a VirtualBox window is place too high on a screen, its associated menus are incorrectly draw too low and appear detached from the menu-bar. Their upper y-coordinate seems to be limited by the upper gnome panel. So I can work around this bug by placing the panel on the higher screen. I have attached 2 screen-shots to make this clearer. Both screen-shots show the whole virtual screen (composed of the 2 real screens).
