virtualbox keeps crashing/freezing

Description
Running the latest virtualbox 3.2.0 on windows 7 on 32 bit HP nx7010 laptop. VM is Win 2008 web server sp2, with the latest guest additions installed.
The computer just freezes after a while (unpredictable). This never happened with the previous versions. I need to do a hard shutdown to get the comp back up.
