I can confirm this on
10.6.3 hist trying to run 10.5 retail disc for guest install
Snow Leopard (10.6) is doing fine

Ok,
I tried beta 3, installed 10.5, update to 10.6 failed (Apple Error message during installation (file transfer))
installed vb3.2.0, update 10.6 also failed
