I would like to have your attention that the problem of Ticket #1794 (closed defect: fixed);Opened 2 years ago;Last modified 1 year ago: Host hibernation hang after runing Virtual Box
is still happen as on 20100327 in my DELL inspiron notebook with xp +sp3 installed.
And the Virtual Box version is the latest 3.1.4 r57640. Hang happens when doing hibernation even without running any virtual box sessions. Please provide a fix. Thanks

XP SP3 32b host crash when resuming from S3 suspend mode

I have un-installed virtual box for a week and now I found that the hibernation problem no longer happened. As a result, I believe that the vboxsvc.exe process that runs when Windows Xp starts is the problem.

The above hang problem no longer occurred when install virtual box version 3.1.6

mine crashes, host XP SP3 32 bit, VB 3.1.6
I've tested 2 guest, XP SP3 32 bit and Windows 7 32 bit (VT-X enabled for both)
