Description

Hi i have Fedora 7 as Host OS with all last updates and 2.6.22.4 kernel. I test this on VirtualBox 1.4 and 1.5. When i try to boot from CD/DVD with Fedora 8 Test 1 (live or install) just after "Uncompressing kernel..." i got "Kernel panic" message (See screenshot).

I can verify this. With the previous VirtualBox release, Fedora did not find it's DVD. I was told that this may be due to using libata in Fedora for IDE devices and that the used IDE emulation in VirtualBox (that comes from qemu) is too old or too bad. Maybe this is related.
