Windows XP Setup hangs when activated "Nested Paging"

Since the update to version 3.1, I can not install Windows (either XP, Vista, or 7) with activated "Nested Paging". Up to version 3.0.12 which was still working without problems. The following has happened:

  • Host system (administrator) ==> Windows 7 Ultimate x64 EN (with installed and

activated GERMAN-Language-Pack)

  • VirtualBox was running normally (ie, not as admin)
  • Bottom right (see Picture 1), the progress bar stops.

Shortly thereafter, the blue screen is (see Picture 2).

  • VirtualBox window has been shut down manually by hand.
  • See the log file

Seit dem Update auf die Version 3.1 kann ich kein Windows (weder XP, Vista, noch 7) mit aktivierten "Nested Paging" installieren. Bis zur Version 3.0.12 funktionierte das noch ohne Probleme. Folgendes ist geschehen:

  • Host-Systems (Administrator) ==> Windows 7 Ultimate x64 EN (mit installierten und

aktivierten GERMAN-Language-Pack)

  • VirtualBox wurde normal ausgeführt (sprich, nicht als Admin)
  • Unten rechts (siehe Bild 1), der Ladebalken hört auf zu laufen.

Kurz darauf erfolgt der BlueScreen (sieh Bild 2).

  • VirtualBox-Fenster wurde manuell per Hand beendet.
  • Siehe LOG-Datei

Browser: IE 8.0, Firefox 3.5.6, Chrome 3, Safari 4.0.3, AntiVir: Avira AntiVir 9 (Up-2-date), Firewall: Oupost Firewall Professional 2009 (Up-2-Date),

No Tuning-Tools! My firewall, I can rule out as a problem shutter, because the problem exists, when the firewall is shutdown!

Status: newclosed

Please reopen if still relevant with VBox 4.0.6.
