Running Sound from multiple VMs and switching between VMs fails sound on them all

Description
Scenario: Running several VMs (Windows XP and Vista, 32-bit)...
If all of them produce sound, and I switch between them several times, sound no longer produced (like Null Audio Driver) until I shut down the VM.
Host: Windows XP, Core 2 Q6600, VBox 3.1.0
Guests: Windows Vista, 32-bit, WIndows XP 32-bit, Windows XP 64-bit, ...
