Description
Yet again, after installing the latest 3.0.12 version, I've had to revert to 3.04 to get things working again.
As far as I am aware, the problem manifests itself with only one particular guest application: Nuance's Dragon Naturally Speaking Preferred, Version 10, which always stalls during start-up under any VBox version greater than 3.04. Unfortunately no error as such is reported in the Windows 2000 or the Nuance product's log file - the latter reaches a certain point in the start-up sequence and then goes no further.
If you need assistance in replicating the problem I could probably find the time at some point to create a mini Windows 2000 instance that illustrates the issue.
An extract from the app's log file illustrates this - the earlier sequences ending with the Identity line were all created under VB versions greater than 3.04, and the final normal non-stalling sequence after reverting to VirtualBox 3.04.
