It seems that in my case at least, I was able to avoid the BSOD's by going back into VMWare and removing VMWare Tools and running chkdsk.
Things then began to hang on boot, but no BSOD's. I then disabled the first NIC card and enabled the second adapter as a PCI driver using NAT, and everything works great--as described in the second to last post here: http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?uid=31386&f=3&t=17335
Not sure if that's all interconnected or not, but I hope it is.
Thanks.

Please guys, could you ATTACH the log files? There is an attach button ...
I'm experiencing the same problem: http://pastie.org/618786
I installed VirtualBox additions while VMWare's tools were still there. I'm currently trying to remove them via the registry since VMWare won't let me unless I'm in VMWare.
I tried removing them from within VMWare. VMWare seems to think they're gone, but when accessing the disk from VirtualBox, they're back.
I'm also receiving the Bad Pool error as in ticket #4386. Not sure if it's related, but thought I'd mention it.
