Virtualbox does not show GUI

Description
I installed virtualbox 3.0.4 on Windows 7 Professional (Full version). Right after the install, Virualbox started up and I made a new virtual machine. After I restarted my computer and tried to open Virtualbox it wouldn't open. The task manager shows that Virtalbox is running but is using 1% or less CPU and 1,820 KB memory but the GUI never shows up. After I ran the setup file again to repair the installation, the GUI showed up. But after I restarted my computer , virtualbox had the same problem; the gui never showed but the task manager said it running with the same resources as mentioned above. I didn't know what to include with this report. Let me know if you need any other information.

Was the VBox installation successful or did you see any error during the installation? Also, you could install VBox 3.0.8. On one hand I don't think that your problem will be fixed but you could provide a log of the installation, see here.
