What puzzles me a bit is that I "can" modload the module:

stathis@opensolaris:~$ pfexec modload -p drv/vboxdrv
stathis@opensolaris:~$ modinfo | grep vbox
213 fffffffff8731000 21500 277 1 vboxdrv (VirtualBox HostDrv 3.0.4r50684)
215 fffffffff8753000 3b58 278 1 vboxusbmon (VirtualBox USBMon 3.0.4r50684)
216 fffffffff8757000 6010 279 1 vboxflt (VirtualBox NetDrv 3.0.4r50684)
216 fffffffff8757000 6010 - 1 vboxflt (VirtualBox NetMod 3.0.4r50684)
217 fffffffff7f957f8 a88 280 1 vboxnet (VirtualBox NetAdp 3.0.4r50684)
stathis@opensolaris:~$

All the modules seem to look properly loaded to me. Did you manually add each one yourself? Did you encounter this error when you installed the VBox package or during a reboot?

Salute.

I can no longer reproduce it with opensolaris 121; I have successfully ran linux/fedora11 and dragonflybsd 2.2 as guests.

Could we close this ?

Best regards,
Stathis
