Description
I installed a windows xp guest OS in a Ubuntu 9.04 host. Everything else was fast and smooth, except that when I browse a secure web server with https:// URLs. The virtualbox window will freeze for a few seconds, the host computer CPU jumps up to 100% (with 1 CPU). Browsing any non-ssl http links are very smooth, even pages with many data.
This happens for firefox 3.5 and safari.0.2, but less severer on IE. My virtualbox version is 3.0.4.
as an example, you may browse https://orbit.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/ . I checked the log file, nothing special.

- Component changed from network to network/NAT
Your guest uses NAT. Do you experience the same problem with the current release (VBox 3.1.2)?
