Clipboard sharing not functional in Mac Os Host

I am running

• Mac OS 10.5.7 on a Macbook 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo,
• VirtualBox 3.0.2 r49928
• Guest OS of Windows XP SP 2

Clipboards function independently, but there is no exchange of data happening. By this, I mean that items copied in Mac os cannot be pasted into Windows and vice versa.

I created this virtual machine back in VB 2.somethingorother, and I have upgraded the VirtualBox guest additions. Forgive me if this is a repost; I've tried bugtracker, forums, and Google, but I only find issues related to Linux host OS.

PLEASE tell me this is getting fixed soon??

Silly question, but do you have the bidirectional clipboard enabled in the VM settings? And a not-so-silly question - could you please attach a machine log file?
