VM losing connection with host OS shared folder intermittently (post 3.0.0)

Description

I think this started after I upgraded to 3.0.0. I have a shared folder on the host OS that I access from the VM. While I'm editing the file using apps on the VM, if I try saving after not saving for a while, the app prompts me to "save as" ... I hit cancel, then try saving again and it saves fine. In one of the text editors (Notepad++), it prompts me saying that the file does not exist anymore. So looks like the VM is somehow losing connection to the shared folder. I'm pretty sure this issue did not exist prior to 3.0.0. Thanks!

I forgot to mention - copying/pasting a file on a shared folder while in the VM is also extremely slow.. sometimes it takes up to a minute before it executes the paste after a copy.

Still relevant with VBox 3.2.10?

Yes, unfortunately it's still there in 3.2.10. I just had an occurrence yesterday in fact.. I think it has something to do with how loaded (CPU/mem) the VM is..
