Description (last modified by )
Computer has two physical network interfaces plus two virtual (VPNs) and act as router. Total of 4 net ifaces on it... Setup windows 2008 32bit full server edition. add 'Routing and remote access role' to it. add one PPTP VPN dialout interface and one L2TP VPN dialout interface. start VirtualBox installer...check 'use VBox networking' in five seconds installer will ask you permission to install Sun networking components and after approving it - will completely hang.... The complete system restart is NOT possible (system is *hang*)
To successfully install VirtualBox, 'ROuting and Remote Access' service must be completely stopped ! (so - only physical network interfaces visible)
PS: are you try in installer to add vboxnetfilter drivers to ALL present networking interfaces disregarding to its virtual/physical type ?

Please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
We're binding to virtual adapters as well. I don't remember the exact examples, but I'm sure there are virtual adapters that should be bindable. In any way this should this should not result in system hang. I'll try to reproduce your hang on the system with RRAS.
