XP guest on OS X 10.5 crashes when enabling bridged network adapter

Description
I have 3 network adapters: attached to bridged - Ethernet, attached to bridged - AirPort and attached to NAT. I need the bridged to have VPN working and the NAT for accessing the OSX Apache from Win. After updating to latest VirtualBox XP crashes when I enable either one of the two bridged adapters.

Please reopen if still reproducible with VBox 4.0.4.

Enabling the 3rd one attached to NAT also causes a crash.
