Description (last modified by aeichner)

Connecting a Philips SpeechMike fails with VBox 2.2.0 and 2.1.4, it is grayed out in the USB device list. Other USB devices work correctly. Client XP SP3, Host iMac2009, 10.5.6 German, 4GB RAM. Using VBoxManage list the USB device is listed with VendorID 0x0911 and ProductID 0x149a, status is "unavailable" (like the keyboard and mouse from Apple). Manual attach of the device also failed with error message that the device cannot be released by the host. With VBox 2.1.2 this worked, but only if the USB device was unplugged and replugged after the start of the VM. Then it was degrayed and could be selected. Creation of filters didnt help. The device seems to be captured by OS X, I found no way to detach it there.
