creating new vm fails on dm_crypt encrypted host.

Description
host: Ubuntu 8.10 with dm-crypt encrypted HDD. Installed using the alternate installer. Creating an new vm stalls in 70% of the cases at totally different stages.
However the same scenario works just same with Ubuntu 8.04.2 with encrypted HDD.
Sorry no files at all.
