Description

I have a clean Windows XP Pro 32bit install with SP3 and patches to this date running inside VirtualBox 2.1.0. I installed BitDefender 2009 IS successfully and performed an update. However when it tries to scan the disc for viruses the entire VM crashes, no error just locks up, mouse pointer as it was for the last task. The VirtualBox control windows is operational. The VM has to be turned off forcibly to regain control.

Problem also occurs is just selecting a single file for scanning.

Same problem here. Since last update of Bitdefender Business Client (build 11.0.17) system crashes when starting a scan. This problem was fixed in 2.1.0 (Bug 2661) with the old Bitdefender build. When the virtual machine crashs a svchost.exe takes 99% cpu.
