Status: newclosed

Known behavior (as designed). You can set VM process priority with VBoxManage. Either before start with

VBoxManage modifyvm "vmname" --vm-process-priority <default | flat | low | normal | high>

or while the VM is running with

VBoxManage controlvm "vmname" vm-process-priority <default | flat | low | normal | high>
