I am running Vista Host with XP Guest, I get the following

Faulting application VirtualBox.exe, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x48ca75c1, faulting module VBoxQtCore4.dll, version 4.3.3.0, time stamp 0x4858ea1c, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00009674, process id 0xa9c, application start time 0x01c91964ea4e2ae4.

Situation is similar to above, the spawned VM runs perfectly fine, just the management app dies.

Try again with 2.0.4 please.

comment:3 by Helmut Auer, 16 years ago

Looks better :) But 2.0.4. tells in its about Box that its 2.0.2 !!!

Please terminate the GUI wait for 20 seconds, probably reboot your host and check the version number again.

The problem just occurs again with the same error message and VirtualBox 2.0.4

comment:7 by Frank Mehnert, 16 years ago

What did you exactly do when this error occurred?

comment:8 by Helmut Auer, 16 years ago

I start VB, start the VM, and after a while the GUI crashes, without any further interaction.

comment:9 by Helmut Auer, 15 years ago

The crash happens always about 1 Minute after the first start of VirtualBox. When I open it again no furthers crashs are happening.
