Same here. What can possibly cause this?

Same, I am running vm from an external drive that I can swap between PCs and the new PC shows this message on each vmachine shutdown. When I open the virtual machine on the older PC with the same external hard drive, there is no message. Running Windows 10 virtual machines on a brand new windows 10 host laptop.

Please attach at least a VBox.log from the crashing VM, otherwise there is nothing we can do to investigate this issue.
