@dkardell
What exactly do you mean "ever addressed"? It was reported 3 days ago! What did you expect? And is it in the same spirit that you're talking about "still broken"? You didn't see any new releases in the last 3 days, did you?

do a clean install of the 6.x guest additions by uninstalling what you have installed.
I have reproduced unusual behavior and even black screen hangs on trying to operate the VboxSVGA device by simply changing the device and then installing GA over an existing GA install in both Windows 8 and Windows 10

@Squall Leonhart
You've posted in 4 different tickets (#18460, #18344, #18339, #18277) just to warn people. :o
Do you think it might be beneficial to talk about your problem? And when I'm saying talk, I mean discuss it, in the forums, the VirtualBox forums, a lot more eyes there.
So, please open a new thread in the Windows Guests section of the forums and let's continue the discussion there, shall we?
PS. I didn't post a similar message to the other 3 tickets, just this one...
Has this ever been addressed. This is still broken on Mac running Ubuntu 18.04
