Version 5.2.2 Host: Windows 7 Guest: Ubuntu Mate 16.04 LTS

Whenever i start the virtual machine, i get the following issue: VBoxClient: VBoxClient (seamless): failed to start. Stage: Setting guest IRQ filter mask Error: VERR_INTERNAL_ERROR

The shared folder doesn't automount anymore, mounting manually works fine. The shared clipboard doesn't work.

• Follow a "start the VM from cold-boot" / "observe error" / "shutdown the VM" cycle.
• With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
• Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response.
• You were supposed to follow these steps when you filed the bug:

  Attach a (full) log file ("Machine" menu/"Show Log" in the main VirtualBox Manager window) straight away to save time for you and for us. The log file contains a lot of useful information about both the host and the guest systems as well as information about what happened during a particular machine run. Please do not cut and paste it.

I am having the same issue. Windows 10 host, Ubuntu Studio, 17.10 Guest. Drag and drop, and shared clipboard do not work.

It looks like @msompel is using Additions provided by Ubuntu, not by Oracle. It would be good to try the Oracle ones. @TK87 Is your log file from a virtual machine?

I am assuming this is a duplicate of #17194. Please re-open if installing gcc and make and reinstalling the Additions does not help.
