Description
The main website uses HTTPS, but the most important part of the website (downloading the binary/source) is over HTTP. This leaves downloaders vulnerable to MITM attacks and should be resolved.

This is a duplicate of so many tickets that I won't even bother to search for the specific numbers. You could have done that and see the you're not the first one to notice that. Plus you would have learned the "why"... ;)
