Double tap not working after installing Guest Additions -> duplicate of #14632

Hi, I have a laptop with precision touchpad (the one included in all modern laptops since early 2015) with Windows 10 Pro x64. When installing any guest (Windows 7, Windows 10, Ubuntu, etc), double taps works fine (just as double click). The problem is after installing Guest Additions: after doing that, double tap stops working, and happens in all guest OS (Windows, Ubuntu, etc). It happens with all virtualbox and extension packs versions I have tested and also with all hosts with precission touchpad I also tested. I have attached the log to this post.

NOTE: Please, delete the Ticket #16473 which I mistakenly created saying it was an Extension Pack problem, confusing it with Guest Additions.

So let's see:

• Delete #16473 as a duplicate, because of a mistake.
• Delete #16480 as a duplicate, because of a mistake.
• What about ticket #14632, where user "matias-uy" reported the exact same problem within minutes of your report. Are you the same user? That opened multiple bug reports for the same issue?

I am truly sorry for the mess. If you can, just keep this one and delete all other tickets. matias-uy is a member of the same developer team here in the company.

I don't have the authority to close tickets, but to put my two cents, the admins should close tickets, #16473, #16480 and #16481 (this one) as duplicates of #14632, since in #14632 there are multiple users that have reported the same issue and they've already "subscribed" in case a solution is found. Hopefully they understood Guest Additions and not ExtPack.

Thanks for the honesty, please be careful next time about the terminology and coordinate with "matias-uy" who's going to be filing bugs ;).

As they say, the best way never to make mistakes is never to try anything. With that in mind I will do as Socratis suggested.
