Guest stops handling mouse button events on host with multiple displays -> duplicate of #14743

Description

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Connect second display to host
  2. Setup guest -- install CentOS 7.2 desktop/KDE, install guest additions
  3. Run guest, login to a user (graphical session), enable full-screen, mouse integration modes
  4. Open KWrite, type some text
  5. Select text, push mouse button on selected text, drag it to second display, release mouse button. Repeat this step multiple times until the problem is reproduced

Result:

Guest stops reacting on mouse button events. To fix the problem, do one of the actions:

  1. reboot guest
  2. logout, re-login

This problem is reproducible on previous VirtualBox versions as well (at least on 5.0.x, 5.1.x).

Could this be a duplicate of #14743? Does killing the "VBoxClient --draganddrop" processes in the guest make the mouse work again?

Yes, #14743 is the same bug.

Killing "VBoxClient --draganddrop" resolves the problem.
