GUI-Panels of virtual box manager do not refresh

The user interface does not update correctly.

The GUI of the virtual box manager seems not to refresh correctly.

For example:

1. open settings
2. You see the tab "general"
3. Switch to tab "system"
4. RESULT: the gui elements of "system" are painted on top of gui elements from "general"

This happens in every dialog.

System parameters:

• Virtual Box graphical user interface Version 5.0.10 r104061
• Ubuntu 14.04.3
• Linux 3.19.0-33-generic #38~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri Nov 6 18:17:28 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Works here. Do you have any non-default theme installed on your Ubuntu 14.04 host? Which package are you using, is this the 5.0.10 .deb for Ubuntu Trusty from the official Oracle repository (at www.virtualbox.org / download.virtualbox.org) or is this the distribution-specific package?

Now, I think actually that is a general GUI problem not related to Virtual Box. I had the same problems for example in VLC media player.

Since I hadn't this problem during the last weeks, it seems to be solved (by some ubuntu updates?)
