Description
- I am using windows7 64 on Intel (R) Core 2 duo T6600 hundred processore
. On loading an ubuntu 12.04 i get ffailed to load /dev/sda1. then further i get another error saying waiting for network configuration which finallly fails. When finally i login i am not able to see interfaces on ifconfig. Only loopback address is displayed. I have enabled two adapters one default NAt and other Host only adapter

Failing to load /dev/sda1 sounds more like a guest problem. The network problem is also a guest problem but is a most likely a known udev issue: Make sure to remove the file /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules and reboot the guest. This file is automatically generated and if the UUID of the network interface changes by any chance, there will be an additional network interface. You can also permanently remove /lib/udev/rules.d/75-persistent-net-generator.rules.
