Japanese Keyboard Does Not Work

Description
VirtualBox fails with Japanese keyboard. Host OS is Win 7 64-bit. Guest OS is Win XP 32-bit. Host OS driver is the Japanese 106/109 key layout. I changed the Win XP driver to the same Japanese 106/109 key layout, but it does nothing. All symbol keys on Japanese keyboard are in different locations, so it basically makes it impossible to use for anything useful.

It would be good if you could compare the scan codes produced by problematic keys on the host and the guest. There is a small tool called "keylook" which can show them:
