Virtual Box prevents sleep of host computer

Description
Virtual Box 4.2.1.8 on Windows 8.1 prevents sleep of host computer. Not automatic sleep, but actually when I go to the startmenu and sleep the computer. Screen turns off but computer is still running. As soon as I uninstall virtualbox it works again.

I have tried uninstalling Vbox Networking Bridge driver, it solves the problem, but what do i do to access internet on guest?
