Webcam not giving preview with WIndows 7 host, Ubuntu guest.

Description
There is no image from USB Webcam when ran in Ubuntu guest from Windows host. The LED blinks, and the device can be seen from the list of USBs connected, but the screen remains blank/black. This problem is floating around the net and many users were struggling to get a wrok around. USB Webcam works perfectly with Ubuntu host, but not with Wondows (tested with Windows 7). Kindly provide a solution

I removed the last three comments which were actually duplicates of the description. Please stop spamming this ticket.

Sorry for that. However, they were not duplicates. I added some information in every comment. See the last two lines yourself. I expected the sytem to display the latest one, not the whole history.
... USB Webcam works with Ubuntu host with "sudo virtualbox", if not directly. But the same doesnt work in Windows even with "run as administrator "(tested with Windows 7). Kindly provide a solution.

Please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
No preview is shown in the image while testing webcam.
