Description
After updating from 4.2.16 to 4.2.18 Ubuntu screen size (959 pixels wide) is smaller than the physical screen (1920) and cannot be enlarged to fit. CTRL+L is no longer available in the menus. This is a regression from 4.2.16, which automatically used the full screen.
The configuration was not changed from 4.2.16. Screen memory is 128M.

Did sudo /etc/init.d/vboxadd setup in guest: build went on with no problems.
Closed guest and restarted it.
No difference. Still reduced window.
Also closed guest and host VM and restarted all. Still not resolved.
Where did RIGHT-CTRL + L option go?

Please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
Sounds to me like you have to re-setup your Guest Additions. Did you try '/etc/init.d/vboxadd setup' in the guest? Please do and reboot the guest.
