Linux guest kernel panics after upgrading Windows host VirtualBox from 4.2.4 to 4.2.6, 8 or 10

Description

I am running openSUSE 11.4 with the 2.6.37.6-24-desktop kernel. It works fine as a guest to the Windows 7 host VirtualBox 4.2.4.

Attempts to upgrade VirtualBox to 4.2.6, 4.2.8 and 4.2.10 have been met with a kernel panic early in the boot process. Uninstalling the offending VirtualBox version and reinstalling 4.2.4 recovers the Linux image without any problems.

The VBox log is not from the VM run. You can find it in the subdirectory Logs of you VM. You attached the log of VBoxSVC which is something else.
